Early Baroque Music the Continuo

The Early Baroque Period 1600-1750 CE
The Baroque Period overlaps with the Renaissance Period because information at that time took a long time to travel from region to region.  Typically the Baroque Period is considered between 1600 and 1750.
The word Baroque comes from the Italian word for "pearl" which is a reference to the fancy and ornateness of the art at this time.

Terraced Dynamics: Layered dynamic layers within a composition (dynamics refers to the loudness and the softness of the music indicated by  f for forte which means loud, and p for piano which means soft.
